Customer Reviews from Platforms
Overall Just Good.👍
I am sharing my thoughts on this phone after using it for 4 days straight. Battery (4 out of 5) - The battery looks big on paper, but because it has an LCD display, it uses more power. Plus, the battery optimization isn't as good as the Vivo T4 Pro, which has amazing battery life even with a 6500 mAh battery. The 44-watt charger takes about 100 minutes to fully charge from 0 to 100. The battery can easily last a whole day with regular to heavy usage. Performance (4.5 out of 5) - This phone features a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor paired with 8 GB of DDR4X RAM (I got the 8 GB version for myself) and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone is set to balance mode by default, but you can switch it to boost mode for better performance. Just keep in mind that this will drain the battery faster and make the phone heat up more. I'm not really into gaming, so I can't comment on that, but it handles daily tasks without any problems. Camera (4 out of 5) - The camera is pretty good. If you've used a budget phone (except for Samsung), you won't be let down. However, I miss the ultra-wide lens that was on my last phone (Samsung F23 5G). Both the front and back cameras take decent pictures, but the back camera doesn't have Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and there are fewer AI features in the camera app. Display (4 out of 5) - This is the tricky part. The display is LCD and has thick bezels (just like Samsung 😁). The phone looks a bit outdated from the front. But with prices going up every day, there's not much we can do. For an LCD, you shouldn't have any complaints, as Vivo has used a good quality display. * The phone has IP68 and 69+ ratings (the '+' is just a marketing gimmick). I haven't tested this, and I don't plan to in the future. * The sound quality is decent, but the 400% sound boost option isn't helpful since it distorts the sound. * Origin OS 6 is better than FunTouch OS. * Since the price has increased a lot from the previous generation, the company should at least offer 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates (Vivo promises 2 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates). I hope this review helps others. I'll update it if I notice any significant changes.
The phone handles daily tasks and heavy usage really well. Battery life is quite decent.
Very happy with the battery life. Display is bright and clear even under sunlight.
